Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was pretty busy and in between day trips I finished my first girl's top, which I call my "pop top" I love how it came out despite all my errors,  and I couldn't have done it without this Tutorial!

This is my current iPhone case, Ugotta Regatta by Lilly Pulitzer.

Now, here are my apps. I'll leave out the standard ones, but here are the others:

WCVB- I love this app for checking the weather radar when a thunderstorm is expected. 

Pandora- I love listening to Pandora, especially when I'm cleaning!

Pinkberry- This app is so cool, when you're ordering at Pinkberry all you have to do is give them a code that pops up and you earn points!

Chipotle- I love this app because you can order instantly from Chipotle!

Scoops/Sky Burger- For some reason I always play these games when I'm nervous for something. It just calms me down. 

DataMan- This app is really good at tracking my data usage. So helpful!

Light- I never thought this flashlight app would come in so handy. I love it!

Daily Pun- I love puns. These ones aren't typically very good, but they still make me laugh every time.

Vineyard Vines Nail Tutorial

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to show you my nail care routine and this adorable Vineyard Vines inspired nail tutorial. Let me know what you think!

Here is my weekly nail care routine as well as the colors needed for this tutorial. I cut, file, buff, and apply a cuticle oil to my nails each week.

 

Make sure all old nail polish is removed before you apply a base coat.

Paint your nails using a variety of colors. Be sure to let this dry!

Paint the first shapes onto the nails. I use a toothpick taped to an unsharpened pencil and dip it into the polishes.

After that has dried, just add the details and a shiny top coat.

May Favorites 2013

1. Too-Faced Natural Eye Palette- I picked this palette up this month and I'm absolutely in love with it! It's perfect for summer or any season really, and it's so easy to create so many looks! 

2. Maybelline One by One Mascara- I fell in love with this mascara last summer, and when I purchased it a few weeks ago my love rekindled. I love the way it defines lashes and the waterproof stays on forever.

3. Anastasia Brow Gel- I've been getting lazy with my eyebrows lately, and this gel is perfect. It's tinted so I don't really have to fill my brows and it keeps them in place. 

4. Wide Tooth Comb- After I loosely curl my hair, I've been loving just running a wide tooth comb through it to complete the look. The comb doesn't break my hair and it keeps the curls in tact.

5. Mid-Wedge Jack Rogers- These sandals are incredible! They're perfect for summer and I love how versatile they are. The souls are disgusting from my feet but other than that, I'm obsessed!

6. Light Wash High Waisted Shorts- Until this year I wasn't really a denim shorts kind of person, but I've been trying it out and I love the looks! They're super comfortable but super trendy at the same time!

7. Watermelon- Every spring I look forward to the return of fresh watermelon. It's so refreshing and crunchy!

8. Pinkberry Cookies and Cream- If you haven't tried this flavor, you're truly missing out. It's by far my favorite flavor and in my opinion Pinkberry's best since the release of Pomegranate.

What I've Been up To

This weekend I went down to my family's summer house in Osterville, Cape Cod. I had so much fun but the weather was awful.

Lately I've been dying to redo my craft space. As of now, all I have is a couple old tables in an unfinished basement. I'd love to put up a couple pink walls, frames, chandelier and use an antique dresser as my counter space. 

Tonight I ate the tastiest summer dinner! My absolute favorite things are bell peppers, so when I ate them grilled with grilled onions, grilled chicken, roasted potatoes, and corn on the cob, it was fantastic!

Finally, if I could live in any era, I'd definitely have to choose  the 1950s. I've always been so intrigued by the idea of becoming a house wife, wearing such fancy dresses, and dancing all night to swing.

Here's what my bag looks like, it is the Shoreline Tote from Lilly Pulitzer. I love the design, space, and durability of the bag, it's perfect for the beach! The description on my website also said it was great as a carry-on or for travel in general and I completely agree!

Here's a look on the inside. As you can see, It holds everything one might need and has a durable liner. I just adore the rope handles, as well.
