Summer Tag!

Hey beauties! Since many of you are already enjoying summer, I thought I'd do a Summer Tag! I'd love to see your answers in the comments! Enjoy!

1. Hot or cold? 

I definitley prefer hot, because you can do anything you want inside or outside then just go somewhere that has Air Conditioning!

2. What's your favorite season?

I sort of consider Christmas a season, so I'd definitely have to go with that, however Summer is my favorite actual season. 

3. Beach or pool?

This totally depends on my mood! If I'm super active on a certain day I'd probably choose the pool but if I'm feeling lazier, I love to just hang out on the sand.

4. What's your favorite summer activity?

I love swimming! It's always so thrilling to take that first summer dip. 

5. What is your ideal summer outfit?

I love wearing a bathing suit everyday no matter what my plans are because I'll end up needing it. WIth that I pair a light summer dress or high waisted shorts and a cute top.

6. Shorts or skirts?

Both! My favorite bottoms for summer are denim shorts and light, cotton skirts.

7. What's and item that you have to have in the summer?

Bandeaus! I can't get enough of them this year, bathing suits or lace.

8. Are you going on vacation?

I am not going on vacation, however I would absolutely love to go to Disneyworld. Somedays when I'm longing for Disneyworld I spend an hour planning a pretend vacation down to the minutes and cents.

9. Are you a sunglasses person?

Absolutely, I love sunglasses. In particular, I am an aviators person because I feel like they fit my face the best.

10. Favorite summer food?

Watermelon, s'mores, and ice cream!

11. Favorite summer drink?

Shirley Temple!

12. Have you ever gone water skiing or tubing?

I always go on my cousins' boat in the summer and they are always tubing and water skiing, but I am really scared of both! I love just jumping off the boat though.

13. What's your favorite makeup product in the summer?

MAC cremesheen lipglass in Richer Lusher. So moisturizing after being in the hot sun and a beautiful color.

14. What's your favorite clothing item for summer?

I think just bathing suits, since you can't just wear them around any time of the year like you can in the summertime. I love mixing and matching and finding cute patterns!

Summer Hairstyles

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you all made it though this week, I finally made it to the beach! Now that it's unofficially summer, here are a few go-to summer hair looks for whatever you have planned! Enjoy!

For those hot summer days where effort is out of the question, I tend to go for just my natural waves. I find it odd that this girl is trying to brush hers out though! Tip: use a wide tooth comb to smooth out tangles and give a soft finish.

For a girly relaxed look try this messy braid. I love how its curled at the end! Tip: never braid tightly, because it will break your hair and give you a headache! 

If you're looking for a more formal look, try this ombré fishtail. I love how the fishtail goes from big to small and light to dark. Tip: start with straight hair for a sleek finish.

I adore this braided updo. It appears that the bow is braided in with the updo, so cute! Tip: make sure your hair doesn't bump at the crown while you're creating the look. Use a styling serum to volumize and thicken.

May Favorites 2013

1. Too-Faced Natural Eye Palette- I picked this palette up this month and I'm absolutely in love with it! It's perfect for summer or any season really, and it's so easy to create so many looks! 

2. Maybelline One by One Mascara- I fell in love with this mascara last summer, and when I purchased it a few weeks ago my love rekindled. I love the way it defines lashes and the waterproof stays on forever.

3. Anastasia Brow Gel- I've been getting lazy with my eyebrows lately, and this gel is perfect. It's tinted so I don't really have to fill my brows and it keeps them in place. 

4. Wide Tooth Comb- After I loosely curl my hair, I've been loving just running a wide tooth comb through it to complete the look. The comb doesn't break my hair and it keeps the curls in tact.

5. Mid-Wedge Jack Rogers- These sandals are incredible! They're perfect for summer and I love how versatile they are. The souls are disgusting from my feet but other than that, I'm obsessed!

6. Light Wash High Waisted Shorts- Until this year I wasn't really a denim shorts kind of person, but I've been trying it out and I love the looks! They're super comfortable but super trendy at the same time!

7. Watermelon- Every spring I look forward to the return of fresh watermelon. It's so refreshing and crunchy!

8. Pinkberry Cookies and Cream- If you haven't tried this flavor, you're truly missing out. It's by far my favorite flavor and in my opinion Pinkberry's best since the release of Pomegranate.
